The kits you will find at this site are based on 25 years of teaching book making to students from kindergarten through adults. The kits are complete with everything you need except for cutting and piercing tools. Instructions have been classroom tested and show you not only how to make the book in the kit but also how to make another book on your own.

Life today does not always give us the time to make as many books as we would like or the space to store all the wonderful materials we would love to own. We sell supplies in small quantities. This way you can try out something new, perhaps that Japanese silk book cloth, or keep on hand a small quantity of various colors of a material like the headbands.

We also teach classes at our store, the Accidental BookMaker, including ten week sessions, one day Saturday classes and extended weekend sessions at skill levels from beginner to advanced.
